Ok, so I decided to become a vegan. This isn't is big of a change for me as it would be for most people. I used to be a vegetarian and after I stopped that I pretty much put the axe to eating dairy. So really I'm putting both sides together.
What's the reason for the change? My health. My fitness. When you stop for a second and think, the source your all nutrients start with the sun’s energy then to the plants then to the animals, each time getting less potent. Then surely any form of energy and nutrients you would expect to receive from an animal would be richer and more pure in the plants they eat. Right?
My main interest is seeing how much I can improve my climbing, running and cycling through nutrition, but I know there are many other advantages to be had.
I'm making this blog to catalog the food I discover, recipes I find, advantages I feel, and anything else worth remembering or sharing.
Stay tuned.
